Business Tampere is hiring: Director, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Transformation

We have a vacancy for a highly experienced senior expert, who feels at home in an international research and business environment. We will strenghten our capability to building an international Artificial Intelligence Transformation Hub (AIT-hub) together with Tampere university, City of Tampere, Ministry of Finance and various companies.

Your tasks include:

• heading the network of international AIT-hub activity building, content creation and funding opportunities
• building international connections and project based cooperation mainly to Japan and South Korea
• supporting the local AI ecosystem development

What we expect from you:

• extensive experience of Artificial Intelligence (AI) research and development activities
• evidence of working with various international cooperation networks (smart city and/or industry) with wide personal contacts
• knowledge of national AI stakeholders and business ecosystems
• a university degree in a relevant subject
• fluent communication skills in written and oral English and possible also with other languages
