    Health technology testbeds in the Tampere Region.

    There are several testing environments and platforms in the Tampere region that companies and organizations can utilise. The platforms can be various operating environments, such as physical spaces, online services, meeting places, or events.

    There are several testing and training environments in the Tampere region for health technology companies and medical staff to develop in authentic and modern circumstances. For example,  HeAT (Health and Assistive Technology) Laboratory is an environment for measuring human physiological signals and 3D motion, suitable for teaching, research and co-creation.

    Tampere Surgical Education Centre provides modern facilities for physicians and nurses to train surgical skills critical for the safety of patients in conditions simulating a real operation theatre. It is the best training facility for medical devices in Europe and the only public facility in the Nordics, where surgical procedures can be learned by implementing them on cadavers.
