    The Tampere Region Economic Development Agency Tredea Oy is participating in the Subcontracting Trade Fair 2015 fair in many different ways

    The Tampere city region is well known for its industrial history spanning over a century, strong ICT expertise and high technology. Today, the city region is also known for the close cooperation between the business sector, education and research as well as the open and broad-minded atmosphere for developing new solutions and methods in fields such as the industrial Internet.

    At the joint fair stand of Tredea and the Tampere University of Technology in the entrance hall you can hear more about the opportunities in cooperation and the region for your company.     Visit the joint seminars (in Finnish) by the Tampere University of Technology and the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd at the Seminar Centre on the 2nd floor, and update your knowledge of resource efficiency, circular economy, the management of the costs of wear and ways of increasing competitiveness with 3D printing!

    In a seminar (in Finnish) on the new materials and methods in rubber technology on Tuesday, 16 September at 11 am, the cleantech business developer Pirkko Eteläaho from Tredea invites you to learn about issues such as environmentally friendly raw materials and chemicals as well as energy-efficient processes.     International networking initiative – Drømmeløftet

    At the matchmaking event organised for Finnish and Norwegian companies in connection with the Subcontracting Trade Fair 2015, people will learn more about new ideas and opportunities in the face of the future challenges to traditional industry. Drømmeløftet is a new networking initiative jointly implemented by Tredea Oy and Finpro ry with the goal of strengthening the cooperation between the companies and research in the Tampere city region and Central Norway, networking, and discovering new operating methods and business opportunities.     Finland will experience a completely new kind of business event in December, when TWINKLE takes over the Tampere Hall on 7–8 December 2015.     Road Show of Design

    Tredea Oy and the Muotoco online service, which operates in the Tampere region, share information on the diverse ways of taking advantage of design competence in companies. Tredea and Muotoco cooperate with Design Forum Finland by inviting companies in the region to the Road Show of Design event organised in the Subcontracting Trade Fair at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre on 15 September 2015 in the seminar centre in hall B.

    The Subcontracting Trade Fair, Finland’s leading industrial fair, gathers companies, experts and decision-makers in the field together in Tampere on 15–17 September 2015. This year, the themes of the international fair include sales, marketing and new materials.

    The Subcontracting Trade Fair presents the Finnish industry as a whole as well as its leading companies. The fair fills up all of the five halls at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, and it has roughly one thousand exhibitors from a few dozen countries. More than 2,000 new innovations are presented every year.
