    The Snow White Trilogy to be adapted for Hollywood film

    The Snow White Trilogy by author Salla Simukka from Tampere, Finland, will be adapted for a full-length Hollywood film.
     
    "A film! A new publisher in the US!" tweeted author Salla Simukka in mid-May.
    Her literary agency has the details:
     
    "We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have lined up a production company in Hollywood and signed a U.S. publishing deal with the giant Random House’s Crown Books imprint for Salla Simukka. Zero Gravity Management in association with Elina Ahlback Literary Agency will produce an English-language film adaptation of Salla Simukka’s Snow White Trilogy."

    “The lead character in the book trilogy is a strong, intelligent and brave young woman, a positive role model that will inspire a new generation of readers and movie audience," says producer Gudrun Giddings according to screendaily.com

    The Crown Books for Young Readers, imprint of Random House Children’s Books has acquired and will newly publish Salla Simukka’s trilogy in hardcover, beginning in January 2017. The trilogy has already sold in more than 52 territories including the US.
