Sandvik Startup Event 12.12.2017 “Digitalization”

Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology invites Finnish companies and startups to participate in the “Digitalization Think Tank”. Come and pitch your solutions on sales, research and/or product/technology developments.

Solutions should support the following areas:

• Connected equipment
• Smart and autonomous equipment
• Data-analytics and process optimization

Key objective is to improve our customers’ productivity, and to consider environment, health and safety aspects in their operations.

Sandvik is looking forward to finding solutions that can be implemented and commercialized as part of our OEM equipment and/or aftermarket parts & service offering.

In technology context, especially interesting to us are companies that have expertise including - but not limited to - artificial intelligence, augmented reality, data-analytics, autonomous driving and fleet management, data transfer and connectivity, environmental perception sensors, human-computer interaction in an off-highway machine environment and cognitive methods.

During the day, you will get an introduction to Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology’s expectations, future technology focus areas and strategy, research and technology development processes and way of working with external partner companies.

All selected participants will have an opportunity to pitch their solutions in five minutes for Sandvik management representatives.

Presentation material should be written in English, but you can present either in English or Finnish. If needed, coaching will be available before the event. Please request when registering. Sandvik reserves the right to limit the number of companies.
