New Factory, new crew: startup program application period is open

The application period for New Factory’s new startup program opened on Monday 16.2. The deadline for applications is 30.3. The free program is open to all companies and start-up teams which develop new products, services and business models.
 
New Factory Startup program allows companies to raise the chances of success significantly. The accepted entrepreneurs receive coaching and tools for business development, market research and finding clients. There is an extensive network of mentors and investors, as well as a New Factory start-up community support and workspaces in the Finlayson area in the center of Tampere.
 
The program can be applied for at the New Factory website: newfactory.fi/startupprogram. The program takes advantage of Tampere Protomo developed approaches which have been built around the basis of an intense, inspiring and ambitious three-month training period.
 
In addition to the Finlayson area, the New Factory has operations in Tampere on college campuses. The New Factory also runs Demola, where companies and students collaborate together on innovative projects.

- New Factory Protomo startups have raised more than EUR 25 million in investment. Already in 2013 the top ten companies had net sales which came to well over 7 million Euros. In the future, we are looking for better results, and we also offer large businesses the means to start agile innovation, says New Factory manager Jukka Matikainen.
