Best of Tampere Region on video: Tampere – All Bright! Ambassadors praise excitement, know-how and history

International professionals living in the Tampere Region testify on six brand new videos about  region’s best sides as a business environment, as an excellent travel location and as a brilliant place to study.

Already 45 people with vast international connections living in Tampere Region have joined the Tampere - All Bright! Ambassador Network in order to spread the word of the region to their own international networks. Most recent collaborative effort are six videos the ambassadors made with Tampere Region Economic Development Agency Tredea. Videos emphasize the best sides of the region and are available for anyone to use and share.

Videos address the following issues: investing in the Tampere Region, export and internationalization, startup and innovation environment, city of three universities, recruiting international talents and Tampere Region as travel destination. In addition they made a video of the reasons behind ambassadors joining the network.

 "I see three main advantages in Tampere for businesses that want to make direct investments: availability of talented workforce, good innovation culture and the wide range of industries and companies. The ecosystem of ICT, intelligent machines and manufacturing industry is particularly strong", says Sébastian Simon.

Michael Beversdorf praises Tampere region startup environment: “I think Tampere has now a lot of start-ups starting, more that it has been for the last few years. Many people have had ideas that they have been thinking for a while, and now they are putting them into action. Innovation is that you take something you do very well in one area and you do it in another area – the possibilities for this to happen are just enormous here. And of course, the industrial history of the Tampere Region is very interesting!”
