airBaltic to Launch Direct Flights from Tampere to Tenerife

AirBaltic announces that it will be expanding its direct flight offerings to Tenerife beyond its home base in Riga to include all of the airline's bases, including Tampere. The twice-weekly flights will begin at the beginning of November 2023 as part of airBaltic's 11 new routes from the Baltics and Tampere for the upcoming winter season.
The flights to Tenerife in the airBaltic network have already been a popular choice among travelers. With the addition of direct flights from Tampere, even more people will have the chance to discover this sunny and sought-after destination. Furthermore, during the winter season, airBaltic will continue direct flights from Tampere to another sunny destination – Malaga (Spain).
The flights to Tenerife are scheduled to take place two times weekly – on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flight time is planned to be 7 hours on the way to Tenerife and 6 hours and 25 minutes on the way back. The flights will be performed by Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
As it has already been announced, airBaltic has published its flight schedule for the upcoming winter season. In the upcoming winter season, airBaltic plans to add a total of 11 new routes – two from Tampere, two from Riga, three from Tallinn, and four from Vilnius. This is the largest number of new routes in a winter season ever seen at airBaltic.
