Airlines operating from Tampere were awarded at the international World Airline Awards gala

All the airlines operating from Tampere-Pirkkala airport; airBaltic, Finnair and Ryanair, were awarded at the annual World Airline Awards gala organized by Skytrax, a company that measures and collects reviews of airlines. The winners are chosen by the airline customers, i.e. the nominations are based on passenger experience and public opinion.

Tampere-Pirkkala's airlines were honored in several categories, and airBaltic, which has its base in Pirkkala, was awarded in as many as four categories. The awards were presented at a gala ceremony in London at the end of last week.
