SHOWCASE: A call for resources and relationships building

The Showcase, a project started from June 2020, is coming to a peak of attention. The SHOWCASE EVENT on November 27th from 15:00-19:00 is the official showcase of the most remarkable journey of Tampere ES! In this call for resources and relationship building, the goal is to encourage connections and collaboration in Tampere’s startup community. Up until this point, a video series on the Tampere ES youtube channel, showcasing some of Tampere’s startups; their journeys, obstacles, and achievements is one of Showcase’s deliverables.

Now, we are bringing Tampere’s startups, students, universities, public sector and all other parties together to discuss the possibilities for collaboration and growth that the future holds.

The event will consist of two panel discussions and Q&A sessions. The first panel will discuss the connection between startups and universities, while the second discussion will cover the new approach to accessing investment capital. The day’s events will conclude with an opportunity to network with some of Tampere’s successful startups, students, community-builders, and investors.

Showcase will be held as a hybrid event in which the startups and a handful of guests will be present at Platform 6 during the discussions. The in person guest slots will be given out on a first come first serve basis and the rest of the guests will attend through a live stream. The networking session will be held through virtual breakout rooms consisting of around 10 people.

The event is open to everyone and slots are unlimited!

However, due to the strong government suggestions regarding coronavirus, the number of participants are monitored strictly. Only the 10 first registered can attend the event physically.
