The EIT Food Accelerator Network is an accelerator program delivered in 6 European hubs; the Helsinki hub focus on Nordics, Baltics and Poland. VTT coordinates & deliver the 4 month program together with University of Helsinki , the local partners Valio , HKScan , Paulig PINC , Nordea , Nordic FoodTec VC , Business Tampere , and 18 partners like Nestle, Danone, Givaudan

The free program is tailored to the startup needs and offers startups workshops, lectures, events, expert mentoring, access to the deep agritech & foodtech research & technology know how from VTT and the University of Helsinki, as well as the opportunity for pilot projects with the partners.

We offer local partners the opportunity to participate our events, screen startup, share an overview of the company & innovation needs, mentor, facilitate matchmaking and shape potential pilot projects. In 2021 the EIT FAN special themes are Sustainable Agriculture and Healthy Nutrition.

The program will start June 9 and close on October 7 with the Helsinki Demo Day hosting Media, Investors & Industry representatives. We welcome startup submissions for pre seed and seed stage startups who have innovative solutions to sustainable food system till 10.4.’21 at: eitfan.eu/ helsinki
