    Wanted: A business/technology-oriented journalist (freelancer) who is in love with Tampere!


    Tredea is looking for a bright, native English-speaker to write professional articles on the region’s vibrant business life for global media channels. The topics include for example IoT, technology and ICT as well as region’s business and innovation ecosystem and opportunities in general. As the whole, the articles promote the Tampere region internationally as a bright destination for business, investments and talents. The distribution of articles is managed by Tredea. The work is conducted as a freelancer with an appropriate remuneration (negotiable) as of autumn 2015 onwards.

    To be able to write desired high-quality articles, the ideal candidate:

    • is a native English-speaker (or has an excellent, proved command of both written and spoken English).
    • has a good understanding/knowledge of and experience in the business life of the Tampere region.
    • is able to take quality photos of interviewees (photos suitable for print / digital media).
    • preferably has education/background in the field of technology, ICT, innovations, or (international) business.

    The planned frequency of articles is one article in every 2-3 months. The works entails both in-depth, longer articles and shorter news and stories.
