Tampere is the most attractive city in Finland – again!
23.4.2014The recent survey about Finns' willingness to relocate tells us that people find Tampere the best place to live in Finland. Market research company Taloustutkimus has conducted the study every other year since 2000. Tampere has turned up number one every time.*
"The number one position is a source of delight. I believe these results reflect the local positive spirit of making things happen", remarks the Mayor of Tampere, Anna-Kaisa Ikonen.
What is it that makes Tampere so attractive? The ambience of the surroundings, the location of the city, the opportunities to study and the multifaceted cultural services, the survey concludes. 30 per cent of the respondents were actually willing to consider moving to Tampere.
