    Finnish circular economy solutions showcased at the World Circular Economy Forum

    Finland, a frontrunner in the circular economy, is prominently participating in the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) in mid-April. Finland showcases new circular economy innovations and collaboration models at the forum. Business Tampere is also actively involved during the circular economy super week.

    – We will highlight the excellent circular economy expertise of the Tampere region, national and international collaboration, active development between the public and private sectors, and, of course, brilliant business examples, says Pirkko Eteläaho, Customer Relationship Manager for Circular Economy at Business Tampere.

    Participating from the Tampere region in the event are also Pirkanmaa Regional Council, Circular Economy Pirkanmaa, Verte, Carbofex, and Wastewise.

    The circular economy forum, targeted at decision-makers, experts, and investors, is one of the largest events in its field. Organized by Sitra, the forum will take place from April 15th to 18th, 2024, in Brussels. The forum and related events can also be followed remotely.     Tools for the Circular Economy Transformation

    In the Nordic Circular Hotspot's acceleration session highlighting Nordic circular economy expertise, Finland will focus on the success factors of the circular economy and the collaboration between the public and private sectors on Wednesday, April 17th.

    In Finland, cities, municipalities, and regions serve as innovation platforms and support new circular economy solutions, particularly in land use and creating new markets. Regional development companies also lay the groundwork for the circular economy and regional business collaboration – in this effort, Business Tampere plays a significant role.

    During the acceleration session, examples of innovative circular economy solutions implemented through close collaboration between the public and private sectors will be presented, showcasing the efforts of regions and businesses.

    We will highlight the excellent circular economy expertise of the Tampere region, national and international collaboration, active development between the public and private sectors, and, of course, brilliant business examples.

    Participation in the acceleration session is possible both in person in Brussels and remotely. Finland's program segment will take place on Wednesday, April 17th, Central European Time from 14:45 to 16:00, which corresponds to Finnish time from 15:45 to 17:00
