Privacy statement – Business Tampere communities

The lawfulness of processing is based on data subject’s consent.

We process and store your personal data in order to connect talents, offer you information, send information by email, improve our services, and protect and maintain your personal account. We will send you content you may be interested in as well as important information of our services, like terms of use, or possible changes on the privacy statement. We store information about your use of our services to enhance user experience and to support you if any technical issues using community services.

Collected data consists of the following information you have provided: name, photograph, email address, profession, home address, telephone number, age/age group, country of origin, country of residence, company/organization, profiles on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter), internet pages, and other possible information you have provided.

Technical information we collect when you visit our services include computer’s IP address, browser type, operating system, and address of a referring web site.

If you are 16 years old or younger, you will need permission of your guardian to join the community.

Ambassador – gallery is open and user profiles are publicly available.
Film Tampere Crew Database is for registered members only. Talent CV Gallery is partly public and partly for registered members only.

Technical information (like IP-addresses) is visible only to communities’ admins and technical support. This information will not be disclosed to other parties without your consent unless it is needed for service providing.

Personal data’s confidentiality, integrity, and availability as well as the legitimate data processing measures are ensured by the agreements made with the service providers. Personal data will not be transferred outside EU / EEA.

The personal data filled in by the data subject will be retained as long as the community membership is valid.

You may edit your personal data online.

The filing system is protected by infrastructure and access rights. Business Tampere will co-operate only with such ICT partners, which fulfil the needed information security level e.g. on server location and access restriction. Business Tampere controls the access management of the register. Access is granted only to technical support and Business Tampere employees working for the communities.
