Film Tampere proudly present the next masterclass in cooperation with XYZ Films. The masterclass will focus on how to integrate green values to a production’s everyday life.
The masterclass is moderated by Aram Tertzakian, the Co-founder of Los Angeles based XYZ Films. XYZ Films is an integrated content company whose mission is to empower visionary storytellers from every corner of the planet. As an independent production company and worldwide sales agency, the company is uniquely suited to identify talented filmmakers and bring their stories to life.
The panelists are:
Tilly Ashton, Sustainability coordinator from Wales. Having worked as Environmental Steward on the Netflix feature film Havoc (Severn Screen/XYZ Films) during 2021, Tilly is currently coordinating a Ffilm Cymru/ Clwstwr funded project (‘Maximising Havoc’). This project will highlight the environmental challenges, successes and opportunities for the future identified while making this film.
Anne Puolanne, Sustainablity specialist and a media professional from Finland. Anne is working as a sustainability manager in Audiovisual Producers Finland APFI (trade association for producers of AV content) which is creating a nationwide sustainability strategy for the film and TV industry. Anne has worked as a freelancer in Finnish non-fiction TV productions since 2010 and as a sustainability consultant since 2019.
The masterclass is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. The masterclass is open and free of charge.
