UAE – Growth opportunities for Finnish companies

With open trade policies, the UAE has transformed into a powerhouse for global business and offers high-growth opportunities.

In 2023, bilateral trade between the UAE and Finland totalled 948 M€, with Finnish exports to the UAE reaching 565 M€ and imports from the UAE to Finland at 383 M€. The UAE is a major export market for Finnish goods. In terms of trade in services, the UAE was Finland’s largest export partner (160 M€) in the Gulf region.

2025 marks the 50 years anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Finland and the UAE.

The UAE construction industry is a major economic driver and is experiencing significant growth, with a projected market value of over USD 44 billion in 2025. This growth is fuelled by government initiatives, private investments, and a focus on innovation and sustainability. The industry encompasses various sectors, including commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and residential construction.
