Where are you from?
I am from the heart of Russian Golden Ring- the ancient town of Yaroslavl. This is a truly wonderful town situated on Volga river with 800.000 population and lots of sights.

What would you like to tell about yourself?
I am a world-wide person exploring cultures and opportunities for interaction in social dimension and now in business. For the years of experience I understood that people of diverse cultures have same initial drivers and aspirations. With all my activities I promote common language between people based on values of growth, cooperation, creativity. I perceive life as a journey with it’s unique route determined by myself and strongly affected by people and environment around me. That’s why with my innate networking orientation I am opened to new ideas and contacts! Especially now when I recently moved to Tampere with my husband and our kids.

Why is Tampere the best place to live?
From the beginning Tampere was our precise choice. I consider it to be a very harmonic combination of business city and intact nature area. It gives to families the rare chance to live a full life with active work, social and recreational activities. Personally for me it was important to feel how this city welcomed us, how networking orientation of inhabitants proved itself in action and brought my family to quick and comfortable settlement. I see many opportunities the city has and I dream to become an active citizen to fulfill them!

Tell about your professional activities?
For more than 10 years I was doing international recruitment and exchanges: I headed the local office of American Company CCUSA ( which offered internships in the United States and Europe. Firstly I was inspired with intercultural dialogue but with years my passion was enriched with interest to the international business processes. Now I am studying International Business Management in Lapland University of Applied Sciences and try to develop CCUSA branch in Scandinavia on the part-time basis. As a newcomer I need more local environment expertise- that’s why I am opened for traineeship or internship in some local project. Here is more about me

What is your involvement in international activities?
While heading the international office I was deeply involved in management processes. But all services we offered I had tried myself first. I lived and worked in US in 2004-2005, did EVS in Malta in 2008, participated in 3 summer projects in Croatia and traveled all over the World to meet new friends and colleagues. The mission of my home business was to bring international dimension to my native town by organizing internships and transferring my knowledge to local youngsters. That was how I started to hold trainings on cultural adaptation and language courses, I also published articles in the local editions and did research work.

What is your mission as a Tampere Ambassador?
I want to apply my links and skills to help local people and businesses to extend towards the World-wide and to bring their experience back to Tampere culture. Right now I am exploring my opportunities inside this path as CCUSA representative. Also in my personal setting I am bright to praise Tampere among my friends- colleagues- relatives as a wonderful place to visit!

What potential do you see for Tampere in the future?
While Helsinki is presently saturated Tampere is growing in it’s business sector and it has opportunities to further grow. Strong industries and geographic location good for tourism and logistics help a lot. Also Tampere is young and promising having the biggest campus in Finland and delivering well-educated specialists. Another huge potential is international knowledge and expertise accumulated in this city: the way Tampere is promoted for International talents gives a great opportunities to facilitate it’s growth!
