The rapidly evolving drone industry gained further momentum at Nokia Arena during a drone developers’ competition event. Industry companies, hobbyists, cybersecurity experts, electronics and software engineers, and researchers worked together to solve the assigned challenges and share their expertise. The teams had the opportunity to test their capabilities and develop new business opportunities and connections. At the same time, Nokia Arena was tested as an indoor drone testing environment. Among the attendees were Member of Parliament Jarno Limnell, often referred to as the architect of Finland’s national drone strategy and a working-life professor of cybersecurity at Aalto University, as well as Mykhailo Vydoinyk, Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland.
