Am I right to understand the coordinator will have to take care of a workplace? You are not offering this?
The group meetings with Tampere Ambassadors and stakeholders can be held at Business Tampere’s premises, subject to the availability of meeting rooms. The rooms are to be booked via Business Tampere. Other than that, Business Tampere is not able to provide working space.
Is there any information on what other extra costs should be included in the bid ? (next to the use of phone and computer). Travel costs I assume to some extent, but is there more that you know of now already?
The price has to include all costs related to the work: travel costs within the Tampere region, office/working space and related costs, communication, equipment and tools (phone, computer), administrative costs etc. In addition to the price given in the bid, no costs are accepted, unless agreed in writing with Business Tampere contact person.
Costs of the larger ambassador meetings will be covered by Business Tampere separately (subject to prior agreement).
What was the estimate of 30-40% working hours based upon?
The estimate of 30-40% working hours is based on the experiences of previous coordinator.
Are the working hours flexible to what extent? (e.g. less hours one week and some more another week, and/or on different days?)
The working hours can be flexible but it always have to be negotiated beforehand with Business Tampere. It would be preferred to work around 30-40% per week.
Can I ask more information about the statement ‘Business Tampere reserves the right not to buy the service’? What would happen to the network then? (if possible to disclose)
The statement “Business Tampere reserves the right not to buy the service” refferes to a situation where Business Tampere would not receive any bid that fill the criteria of the bid. In this case Business Tampere doesn’t have to buy the service from anyone who has sent the bid. If that would happen, the coordination of the network would be arranged in some other way.
Is there anyone else still working for the Tampere Ambassadors network? Or would the coordinator be the only one and Business Tampere only provide support?
At the moment there’s nobody officially working for the Tampere Ambassador Network, although the previous coordination is currently taking care of the needed action for the transformation phase. This includes temporary coordination of the network. Once the service provider is chosen, he/she will take full coordination responsibility. The support for the coordination will be provided by Business Tampere.
Will Talent Tampere continue as a project when it will be moved to the city?
We are happy to announce that Talent Tampere will become a strategic and permanent part of the city of Tampere’s new service set called “Talent Attraction and Retention”. This will give it stable position in the future.
How the weekly work of the coordinator is expected to be allocated to each working day? E.g. should the coordinator be available for the network in every working day from Monday to Friday?
The coordinator can manage his/her time independently. Some of the work may be performed during evenings and weekends. The coordinator is expected to be available and to answer messages etc. in a matter of a day or two to serve the ambassadors and stakeholders in a professional manner.
Is it preferred that the coordinator will work in Tampere, also in the premises of Business Tampere and if, at what extent?
It is highly preferred that the coordination would work in Tampere because of the need to meet with the Ambassadors and stakeholders regularly. Please see the first questions in order to find an answer regarding the use of Business Tampere premises.
