The content of the Scaleup Launchpad program has evolved since the first round, according to the coordinator. The project, which began in January of last year, will continue as scheduled until December 2025.

Seven companies from Finland, primarily from the Tampere metropolitan area, are participating in the second round of the Scaleup Launchpad growth program. The companies were selected during the summer of 2024.

"The companies selected for the second phase of the program are all growth-oriented. Based on feedback from the companies in the first phase, we have further refined the content of the program", says Mikko Pesonen, project coordinator at Business Tampere.

The participating companies are listed here on the project’s page.

We are pleased that many of the companies from the first round received significant support for their international expansion. This round, we also decided to increase the number of companies participating," Pesonen continues.

The ten-month program offers companies concrete help and practical solutions to the challenges they face, without bureaucracy. Companies will have access to an active network in Sweden, Finland, and Estonia, and, ideally, direct interactions with potential customers or partners.

Scaling to new markets is accelerated through the collaboration of three countries, which includes exploring the markets of neighboring countries.

Scaleup Launchpad is a collaboration project between Finland, Sweden, and Estonia that supports companies in business growth and market expansion. The multinational project is coordinated by Business Tampere in cooperation with Tartu Science Park and Norrköping Science Park. The project is funded by the EU.

More information about the Scaleup Launchpad program can be found on the project's website, which outlines the different stages of the program, the experts involved, and the services offered to participating companies, such as targeted mentoring, networking opportunities, and personalized support to promote internationalization.

One of the companies from the first round, Buildie, shares its experience in a native article published in Aamulehti.
