The programme focuses on Physical AI: bringing artificial intelligence into machines, robots and industrial operations through sensing, software, automation and autonomous systems.

The Dallas–Fort Worth programme combines industrial and logistics visits with introductions to the regional business environment. Programme highlights include:
The delegation is scheduled to leave Dallas by shared coach during the Thursday morning 22 Oct.
The day includes a planned visit to the George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex at Texas A&M–RELLIS, followed by onward travel to Austin area.
BCDC supports research, development, testing and evaluation of national security technologies. Its capabilities include autonomy and networks, testing and evaluation, and modelling and simulation, making it a relevant destination for companies developing autonomous systems and related technologies.

Participants register for Austin Tech Week independently and pay for their own event ticket. Registration for the delegation does not include a Tech Week ticket.

There is no separate participation fee for the Business Tampere delegation programme.
Your company’s most important contribution is active participation, confirmed participation, building business relationships on site and honouring your commitment to join the delegation. Hosts and meetings are arranged around the participating companies, so reliable attendance matters.
A cost-effective shared hotel option will be arranged outside central Austin. This will help manage accommodation costs during the Formula 1 weekend, which coincides with the delegation’s stay.
Hotel and booking details will be shared with participants. Each participant pays for their own accommodation.

Formula 1 United States Grand Prix
The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix takes place at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin during the delegation’s stay.

Tuesday 20 October – Dallas Stars vs Boston Bruins. Participants have the opportunity to attend the Dallas Stars–Boston Bruins NHL game together in the evening and enjoy informal networking. Attendance is optional, and participants pay for their own tickets and related expenses.

The programme is for Finnish technology companies entering or expanding in the U.S. market, especially in intelligent machinery, robotics, autonomy, industrial AI, sensing, semiconductors and advanced manufacturing.
Yes. You can join the full delegation, Dallas–Fort Worth only, Austin only or the Tech Week programme only. Please indicate your preferred dates and option when registering. There is one shared Physical AI theme and one track common for all.
There is no separate delegation participation fee. Business Tampere provides the organised programme, selected shared transfers within Dallas and the shared Dallas–Austin coach. Participants pay for flights, accommodation, most meals, other transport, their Austin Tech Week ticket and optional leisure activities.
Arrival in Dallas is recommended on Sunday, 18 October, ahead of the programme on 19–21 October. The coach is scheduled to leave Dallas on Thursday morning, 22 October, with a planned BCDC visit before continuing to Austin. Austin company visits start from 23 October. Final timings will be shared with participants.
The programme during 26–30 October combines selected Austin Tech Week activities with company visits continuing in the Austin area. Participants register for Tech Week separately and pay for their own ticket. The final schedule will specify the delegation activities on each day.
Use the registration form to express preliminary interest, ask for more information or submit a binding registration. Binding registration is due by 10 October 2026. Companies are expected to participate actively and honour their commitment, as hosts and meetings are arranged around the delegation.
The programme and detailed meeting times are being finalized in Austin. Visits to Tesla Gigafactory Texas, Texas Instruments, Silicon Labs and John Deere are awaiting confirmation. The BCDC visit and travel timetable remain subject to final arrangements. Updates will be shared with participants on weekly basis.
A cost-effective hotel option will be informed (reservations details) outside central Austin because the stay coincides with the Formula 1 weekend. Hotel and booking details will be shared with participants, who pay for their own accommodation.
No. The Dallas Stars–Boston Bruins game on 20 October is an optional opportunity to attend together at participants’ own expense. Business Tampere does not organise Formula 1 tickets, activities or transport. Anyone wishing to experience the 23–25 October race weekend makes their own arrangements and pays their own costs.
