Smooth travel from Tampere airport

There are direct flights from Tampere to many destinations.  AirBaltic flies direct flights from Tampere to several European cities, offering a wide range of connections through the route network of partners. In addition, the airline offers connections to more than 70 destinations in its own route network via Riga.

AirBaltic started direct flights to Nice and Milan from Tampere-Pirkkala Airport. From the beginning of May, there are flights to both destinations twice a week. AirBaltic also flies from the Tampere-Pirkkala Airport to Amsterdam, Riga, Copenhagen, Munich and Málaga. In addition, Ryanair flies twice a week from London Stansted to Tampere.

airBaltic already has direct connections three times a week to Munich, Copenhagen and Amsterdam, and Ryanair also has twice a week to London. With these flights, the whole world opens up with one change. In Business Tampere, we are working to ensure that these flights become daily, says Marja Aalto.

A total of three airlines operate from Tampere-Pirkkala: airBaltic, which has its home base in Tampere, and Ryanair. In addition to these airlines, the travel agency TUI operates its own holiday flights from the airport.

Airport easy to reach

The airport can be easily reached by bus from the centre of Tampere, and the journey to the security check only takes half an hour. You can get to the airport easily and quickly with Nysse's direct airport bus connection no. 103, which runs through the train station and the bus station.
