Samsung Europe invites software or hardware technology companies to join Samsung Mobile Advance program in collaboration with Business Tampere

LAKKA Health Oy joins Samsung Mobile Advance program. Business Tampere coordinating company applications for 2021 round

As part of their Samsung Mobile Advance program, Samsung Europe is inviting companies with innovative software or hardware technology projects that can enhance and add value to the current Samsung Mobile product range, to apply for their Mobile Advance program. Samsung Mobile Advance is a grant funding program for new Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects that are specifically tailored to Samsung Mobile technology. For the successful companies, Samsung will provide up to €50k in grant funding, and some technical and project support for a period of six months to enable the winning project ideas to be developed in a PoC with Samsung. The closing date for submissions is Friday 19th March.

Business Tampere is coordinating interaction between Tampere region companies and Samsung in this spring 2021 round. This follows successful collaboration last year in which LAKKA Health from Lempäälä was selected from amongst over 40 European startups to proceed to the PoC stage. Samsung was first introduced to LAKKA Health by Senior Business Advisor Oliver Hussey from Business Tampere. As a result, LAKKA Health is now collaborating with Samsung on technology development. This is made possible by LAKKA Health’s dynamic core team of dedicated specialists in mechanics,  electronics, materials, software design and data-analytics.
