Will Cardwell has been living in Finland since 1996. Over that period, he has been a partner in 5 venture capital funds, and has been a responsible partner on more than 100 investments, including 25 in the last two years. He is managing partner of Courage Ventures Management in Finland, Open Circle Capital in Lithuania, and recently started a fund called TechMinsk which invests in Belarus-related startups around the world. Through these funds and his private portfolio, he currently reviews over 1000 startup business plans per year, and has active investments in 65 startup companies in Finland, Baltics, Eastern Europe, and the USA.
