Since AI Hackathon 2026 brings together AI engineers, software developers, researchers, founders and students from Finland and around the world in Turku on 6–8 November 2026. During the build weekend, participants work in teams on real company and public-sector challenges and turn ideas into working AI products. No slide decks or mockups — the focus is on building and shipping. In 2026, the ambition is to scale the model into one of Finland’s most concentrated environments for turning AI talent into working products. Google Web AI Lead Jason Mayes will also travel from San Francisco to Turku to speak and mentor builders in person. Who should apply? AI and ML engineers, software developers, data scientists, researchers, designers, technical founders, students and other builders who want to create something real.
