Norse Key Studios and Film Tampere have the honor of hosting one of the 2025 International Emmy® Awards semi-final judging sessions, as the panel for the Sports Documentary category convenes in the city on August 18–19, 2025. The event is hosted by Norse Key Studios in collaboration with Film Tampere and forms a prestigious part of the global International Emmy® Awards selection process, which highlights international excellence in television and streaming productions.The judging panel will consist of approximately ten international professionals from the audiovisual industry, representing major streaming platforms and television networks from around the world. As part of the second round of the competition, the panel will evaluate entries in the Sports Documentary category. Tampere is the only Finnish city to host an International Emmy® Awards judging session in 2025.An exclusive evening reception will be held in conjunction with the semi-final judging session. The event will bring together industry leaders, creative talents, and influential figures from media and culture to network with the international jury.The International Emmy® Awards are organized by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, celebrating excellence in television programming produced outside of the United States. The Academy was founded in 1969 and has presented the International Emmy® Awards since 1973.The event is organized by Norse Key Studios, Film Tampere in collaboration with the City of Tampere, Business Tampere, Visit Tampere, film equipment rental company Valofirma, ICS Nordic and Courtyard by Marriott hotel.Norse Key Studios specializes in international sales of Nordic television and film rights.
