Business Tampere is the economic development agency of the Tampere city region. We promote regional vitality, attract investments, and support the growth and internationalisation of local companies. Each year, we work with approximately 1,500 companies.

We support business growth, internationalization and the development of our regional business ecosystems. Our work includes building networks and RDI collaboration, advancing development projects, pilots, and investments, supporting company location decisions, and providing up-to-date insights into the region’s business and innovation environment.

Business Tampere is owned by the municipalities of the Tampere city region: Tampere, Kangasala, Lempäälä, Nokia, Orivesi, Pirkkala, Vesilahti and Ylöjärvi. We also work in close cooperation with the public sector, educational institutions and companies.
