Business Tampere is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead the Intelligent Connected Cities (ICC) project, part of the Central Baltic Programme. In this role, you’ll support local companies and city stakeholders to create new business opportunities and reach key global markets, including Singapore, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia. You’ll lead the project and coordinate impactful collaborations across several countries and partners, guiding the project from a project plan to successful delivery. Key Responsibilities Connect and support local SMEs in expanding internationally and increasing sales in new markets. Organize engaging events, workshops, and matchmaking opportunities for companies and stakeholders. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ICC project both in Tampere and across the partner network. Work closely with partners in Sweden, Estonia, and Latvia to ensure effective collaboration and timely progress. Manage project reporting, budgeting, and communications in line with Central Baltic requirements. Travel to partner countries and target markets as needed. Your Profile Proven experience in export activities and international sales growth. Knowledge of business culture or networks in Singapore, the Philippines, or Saudi Arabia is a strong asset. Strategic and action-oriented, with a passion for overcoming challenges and making things happen. Skilled communicator who builds trust with diverse stakeholders. Established network among Tampere region companies. Experience leading complex, multi-partner projects. Proactive, organized, and excellent at coordination. Fluent in English, Finnish is an advantage but not required. Ready to travel internationally. Why Business Tampere?
